摘要

　　在以華語做為第二語言的教學中，我們發現聲調常常造成學習者的困擾。從歷史文獻記載中，發現許多對於聲調的描述是以音樂的概念來說明，本文以此觀念為基礎，並參照趙元任的「5度標記法」 ，對於華語的聲調教學提出一些看法。一、以一聲、四聲定出基準調；二、以一聲、四聲、三聲、二聲為練習的順序；三、聲調的教學不宜獨立，必須結合字彙。四、利用詞頻、詞庫等資料庫，開發符合聲調學習之教材。

Abstract

　　While teaching Chinese as a second language, we often notice that the differentiation of tones perplexes learners mostly. Previous literature showed that a great deal of description for tone grew out of the concept of music. Based on this notion and taking Y. R. Chao's "five-scale tone marks" as a reference, the study proposed some perspectives on tone teaching. First, take the first and fourth tones as the standard tone. Second, practice the tone in the order of the first, fourth, third, and finally second. Third, do not separate tone from vocabulary when teaching. Fourth, use the data bank such as word frequency and the word bank to develop suitable material for tone teaching.
