Altogether, four topics are discussed with detailed examples: (1) the relationship between the internal structures and external functions of Chinese compounds, (2) conditions on the reduplication of Chinese disyllabic adjectives, (3) a contrastive analysis between Chinese and English word orders, and (4) a pragmatic explanation of the usage of ‘死鬼’and ‘死相’. It is also emphasized that effective teaching and learning of Chinese grammar as a foreign or second language starts with conscious knowledge of grammatical rules involved, which ultimately become unconscious linguistic habits through constant practice and applications. 內容語文 Language 中文 頁次 Page 165-190 全文下載 Download
